The idea emerged during a conversation at a local 1 Million Cups gathering between a music industry veteran and a technologist exploring the future of creative work. What started as a casual discussion quickly revealed a much larger problem.
Creators were producing remarkable content — innovative, bold, and widely distributed — yet the music behind their work was almost always borrowed. So we began building.
